Thanks for answering, all who did. To make things clear: I do know what
a double sided / flip-flop hub is; I have several old cycles equipped with them. My question, which was answered by some listers off-list, was if the Campag steel barrelled one is rare - sorry about the wording. The answer is no, it´s not. Ah well.
Going further: I actually have a double sided hub from the twenties, steel, nickel plated, so I think they have been around for some time.
