Subject: [CR]want to trade: 1974 Peugeot

Hello List Members. Anyone out there want to trade a decent bike (preferably Raleigh, Masi, higher-end Schwinn, anything like that) for a 1974 Peugeot road/touring bike? It's in good shape except for the paint and rear wheel (which needs truing). The paint is a horrible matte white which someone did to cover some small scratches. I will include all the parts that I took off when I restored it (this includes the original MaFac brake shoes, cable housing, and reflectors that I'm pretty sure are not original). The size is approx. 23" c-c, 23.5" c-t. Brakes: MaFac "Racer" centerpulls Brake levers: Dia Compe Rear der.: SunTour Honor Front der.: SunTour Vx Shifters: Simplex metal/plastic Stem: AVA Hubs: Normandy high-flange q/r Freewheel: 5-speed Maillard Cranks: Nervar Pedals: Lyotard 136 Chain: Sedisport I spent about $150 total to buy and restore the bike, so am willing to put in some extra money to make an even trade. I would prefer a 61 cm frame size (c-t). Thanks for looking! Samuel Pierce-Ruhland Racine, WI P. S. I will need advice as to how to ship it as I have never done so before.
