Subject: [CR]argue argue argue and other stuff

I respect a lot of the folks on this list, Dale and the others I know personally, but this is really chapping my hide. I made my point last night. End of story, or so I thought. I wake up to a bunch ( almost 15 ) emails in my inbox, with the exception of 1 or 2, they were all "arguing" their point of having a camera at the show. I could have sworn I made myself perfectly clear with my point. If more emails from the list show up, I will quit updating the CR list on the progress of the show.

Now, after sleeping on it, I have decided I will allow cameras ONLY in the cocktail reception on Friday night. This issue is NOT up for debate, argument, or emails from anyone complaining. Get it? I don't want to have to answer emails all day long again when I have other things to do.

The reason for allowing cameras into the Cocktail reception is for those who want pics with their favorite builders can do so at that time while the builder is dressed "to impress."

Now, that being said, I have a surprise announcement... As some of you may know, Brian Baylis plays the drums. Paul Sadoff plays a mean guitar and they have asked me if they could provide the evenings entertainment with a collection of classic rock/surf tunes during the reception. While it will take a day or two to confirm with the hall that we can have live music at the venue, I will do my best to make this happen.

The next announcement is that there is a very good possibility that a Tubing manufacturer from Japan will be in attendance at the show. Some of the CR folks might know who I might be referring to, but I cannot confirm anything other than a "verbal commitment" at this point, so I will leave them as anonymous at this point.

Thanks for understanding that I am working hard to bring the best show possible of its kind and I appreciate that while I can't please everyone, I do my best to make sure the show is first rate and that anyone who attends will be more than happy they came.
