I'm not an expert on these, but there are multiple quality levels of the bikes in the team colors.

Other than the Ilkeston bikes, there were some pretty decent ones in team colors that I suppose were Worksop bikes. The ones I've seen often had Prugnant S4 lugs (the ones with the cutouts). I believe these were pretty much available in the US as I once purchased one NOS from an old Raleigh dealer that didn't seem to be likely to have imported it direct.

Then there were the ones that if memory serves me right were of the quality of the Raleigh Comp GS - a real mass production frame that is really getting pretty basic in build quality for a 531 frame.

Then there was the lowest of the low - the bikes painted in team colors but were really the Raleigh Record of the late 70's or early 80's - an entry level bike that was below the Raleigh Gran Prix. But these did not have 531 tubes, they did not have Campy dropouts, so its not what the listmember cites as having received.

The real SB Ilkeston bikes are generally quite nice - Raleigh certainly got their mileage out of the graphics!

\r?\n> and, at least in my case, the BB shells.
