Do you "wall hanger guys" restrict your collection still to bikes you can actually ride if you wanted? I mean if you don't ride it, frame size would make no difference neither would handlebar width etc. Sounds like a perfect way to break down one of the few barriers to filling a barn or two with bikes.. "I really really want this but it's not my size".

i limit my collection to bikes in my size range, 56-57 c-c, so i can ride any of my bikes if i wanted to. it is a darn good rationalization for owning a bike you know you will seldom or ever ride. plus, it prevents the spusal unit from saying: another bike? but you can't even ride it, it's not even your size!

years ago, however, my desire to acquire and collect made me strecth my "size range" to 54-58 c-c. with time came maturity (as well as lack of space), and i sold all the bikes that weren't my size, as well as some that were my size but just didn't fit into my new collection focus.

so now i stick to my true size range, and therefore i am not a pure collector, like ken denny, who does not place a "my size" limitation on the bikes he owns for his collection. his collection contains several bikes that are not his size (but even if they were, he would not ride them because they are significant...). displaying enormous wisdom, however, he does impose that limitation for bikes he rides :)
