I agree -- particularly if the Mafac 2000 brakes were first offered during that time frame. I didn't become aware of their existance until much later (kids and all in the late '70s), so I really can't help you there.

Its funny how the Peugeots of that period always seem to look smaller than they really are. With that top tube, however, I may be able to ride it. I'm in Boone NC next week and will drop by for a visit if I get the chance.
