Assuming everything is original, I'd say 1977 is a pretty good guess. The style of the DT decal, the headtube decal rather than metal badge, and the multicolor stripes rather than just black on the seatstay caps make this mid-70's rather than early 70's.

Also the SLJ derailleurs and retrofriction shifters probably put it 1975 or later. I first saw these shifters on Thevenet's Peugeot PY-10 at the 1974 Montreal World Championships, but I'm not sure they were available on production bikes in 1974.

Also, the Mafac 2000 brakes, recessed allen bolt stem and 2001 saddle are mid-70's rather than early 70's.

Don't think it is a lot later than 1977 though, as it still has Stronglight 93 rather than 105 or maybe 104. Also, the Lyotard mod 36 pedals would have been replaced with Maillard-badged models by the late 70's. Finally this is the old-style 531 decal. The "intermediate" Reynolds Tube Co. decal came out on Raleighs in 1973 or maybe 1972. Seems to have taken a couple more years to appear on other marques, especially in French. Plus Peugeot probably had a large inventory of decals to work off. But by 1978. I'd expect to see the Reynolds Tube Co. decal, and the TI-Reynolds not long after that.

My guess? 1975 to 1977.

Now, what approximate year of manuf. do you think it is? It has Simplex alloy LJ shifters, Mafac 2000s, Ideale 2001 saddle (in rough fuzzy shape), pre_ti Reynolds tubing decal...
