I will be working at the sub base at King's Bay, GA for a couple of weeks after Labor Day. I am giving serious consideration to shipping one of my bikes to the hotel so I can ride after work. (Off at 3:00). Anyone familiar with the Kingsland area and what riding conditions might be like these days? Specifically interested in the conditons along highway 40 to St Mary's. Would I be target practice? I was there several years ago, but was not looking at the area from the rider standpoint at the time.
