While holidaying in france, a friend bought a rusty, battered old bicycle labelled "Jaques Anquetil, Reims" for 10E. He says it could be from the seventies. It sports CLB brakes and Mavic tubular rims on Shimano hubs. the frame is coated in green metallic paint and has no tubing label. It even came with a old spare tubular also labelled "Jaques Anquetil". I haven't seen the bike myself (i asked for pictures, though). Anybody ever heard of that bike make? How was "Maitre Jaques" related to that company?
