glad you enjoyed our little piece of cycling heaven. maybe we can incorporate some of the Peach Tree Loop on the September ride.

speaking of this past weekend I spotted a Laing tandem. didn't get a good look since they were pulling out of a gas station. it was white with lime green lugs. looked pretty organic.

Just an FYI for those who might be interested...

there's a really fine ride that just went off in Sonoma County last weekend.

classic content: Carmen and I attended on our 1980 Jack Taylor OS-tubed, fillet-brazed tandem, and while this is not strictly a vintage ride, there were many vintage and KOF bikes there (including a very nice Ed Litton that I wish I'd had time to look at more closely)

It's called the Tour d'Organics. Leaves from and returns to the picturesque little town of Sebastopol, California, about 50 miles north of San Francisco, right in the middle of wine country. There is a web-site: http://www.tourdorganics.com that'll tell you all about it.

The reason I mention this ride on the list is that I suspect there are many here who'd be interested in doing the ride, and because the route is, hands-down, the best I've ever ridden for this kind of thing. It was very, very scenic, taking full advantage of the natural beauty in the area.

It's worth making a weekend of it, if you can.

If someone up that way put on an actual vintage ride in Sonoma, I'd consider attending...this must be some of the best bicycling country in the world..
