Nigel, The Falcon Milan San Remo was available when I was a schoolboy when we still had school milk before that cow stole it! This was an eternity ago and would be around about 1960/61, if you can get hold of some "Cycling's" from around this period they did a road test on the San Remo. They also offered one as a competition prize and I am sure Bill Bush the SVCC stalwart won it wonderful man. Think the San Remo was sort of low middle range and had a Magistroni chainset, best ask Peter or Hilary as they might have some Comics for these years. Sorry the best I can do, we also had pits back then but she put pay to these as well. Have been in South Wales today and the Midlands on Friday what a sad sight she did more damage than Adolf's Luftwaffe. Take care and be lucky Mick B Hunts UK.
