Wow, that is one of the more absurd auctions I've seen in quite a while. Talk about distorting reality to the seller's agenda... or maybe he is just plain ignorant and actually believes the BS he lays out. Ultimately, this is a cool bike. If it's the same Cotten I know of, he's been fillet brazing bikes since at least the late 70's. The MS is unusual Columbus tubing that was eclipsed by Max in short order, so you don't see too many MS bikes.

In any case I have a question for the list. When he says:

"I suspect a new frame of this caliper and with its method of construction would be $2000 plus."

does that mean it would be less expensive with different calipers?

Come to think of it, where are the calipers?
