MKM tended to favour metallic of "polychromatic" finishes..................

Other than that I recall that one of their paint-sprayers - it might have been ace time-trialler, Ian White, had a strong liking for a sharp red and a deep mid blue............................. I have a track frame (1980s I think) which is decalled as "Ian White Cycles". Is this the same Ian White and did he set up in business after the demise of MKM? Do you have any information on where his premises were and did he make his own frames?

The frame is well made and finished -- very conventional with pointed lugs, 531 butted tubing and Campagnolo track ends.

I hadn't actually heard of Ian White. Did he have an illustrious racing career? It is possible that my frame was built with time-trialling in mind because the fork crown was drilled for a brake from new. Is Ian White still around?

Any information would be much appreciated.
