I've got two bars to wrap soon, and I've not done this too many times before. Got some great suggestions stashed away from you on the list.
For a bit of extra 'padding', can anyone suggest a suitable material ? One of the bars is the Leather coming from Tom, and I doubt it will need any cushioning, but the second is using the super thin 'plastic' tape (Benotto brand), so some extra under the tape could be nice.
I recall a product that was a few mm thick, came in a roll, and wrapped on underneath the tape - but I can't find it any longer. Anyone have any household/garage material that works well (but doesnt build up the diameter of the bar TOO much) ??
