This is why I like "Match l"Intransigeant" so much - this image is 24" wide x 17" high! Show here is Frenchman Gabriel Ruozzi, first rider over the top. It was on the descent from this peak that Spaniard Francesco Cepeda crashed and fractured his skull. He died a 3 days later, the first rider to die of injuries during the TdF.
