>From the perspective of someone who went to Houston I can share that there
were some carbon frames that I'd call handmade. Sure the lugs and tubes were
purchased from larger firms who do this kind of work, but how is that any
different than our beloved keeper of the flame builders. If a builder can use his
hands build a rational frame for a certain set of criteria I think it qualifies
as handmade. Just because it's glued and not brazed matters little to me. It's
not my favorite cup of tea either but I saw some innovative stuff in Houston
of all material persuasions.
