Subject: [CR]Italian translation needed for Picchio

Listmembers,

Are there any members who would be willing to translate Italian to English text?

I sent a letter (translated by a Language Professor at Ohio Northern University) to an address provided to me by Art Yow when he visited Angelo Picchio's shop back in the 80's. Well, today the return letter arrived and I've since moved to Gainesville, Florida. Therefore, I have no access to a translator and Babelfish just didn't get the job done.

Babelfish gives me an idea but would like to have a literal translation. The letter concerns the possibility of Roger de Vlaeminck having owned and ridden one of Angelo's frames. The bike in question has the letters "RdV" engraved in script on the right rear dropout.

I've typed the text into Word so it could be sent as an attachment.

If anyone would be willing to provide the translation, I would gladly make the information known to the list.

BTW, he sent a cool autographed picture of himself and an '88 Italian bike catalog depicting the bikes of the day.

Thanks, Rick Robbins Gainesville, Florida
