Thanks for all the wonderful e-mails on the 22.0/22 stem thing and the Zeus 25.0 post. I spent about 1/2 hour last night with some sandpapers or various sorts and made a 22.0 TTT from a 22.2 TTT -- all went well. As to the 25.0 Zeus post -- no luck. I have Campys, so it'll get one of those I guess. The bike is going to be LOVELY: Zeus Criterium group, Z-2000 saddle, TTT bar and stem, Mavic gold rims, Vittoria green tubs, etc. All new. The frame is 60x59 and a very light green.

I guess others had a better experience in Madison at the swap than I did -- it's likely soar-grapes or something on my part. In past years I came away loaded w/ stuff for my collection....I just long for the ol' days when that was easy and cheap. I did have fun and will go back in 2006 -- no doubt.
