The ones that I have are laminated mahogany and black cherry with large sealed cartridge bearing in each end with a steel rod running thru them. They are 4" in diameter and 16" long. The New England Yankees that I saw had aluminum side rails, mine are wood. The set that my friend is going to make will also be wood.

I have some old wood rollers. I don't know who made them. They are not here at my house, but if I remember correctly they don't have bearings, just wood rollers on axles. I have been saving them to use for a display. They fold also. Could they be the New England Yankees?

List,
I have a friend who is thinking about making some wood rollers to sell. Now I know that New England Yankee used to build them in the 60's but I haven't seen any since. Does anybody have an opinion on these and if the response is favorable, should they be fairly easy to sell?
Cheers,
