I've had luck using a thin blade screwdriver to lift an end of the grip. Use WD-40 and the red straw to spray under the grip. Work the WD-40 under the grip by twisting. Be careful not to tear the grip. Go slowly and eventually, with some luck, the grip will come loose.
I have some Grab-on knock offs (Asian copy) and some Spenco grips (cool camo pattern) grips buried in the basement if the WD-40 trick doesn't work.
