Subject: [CR]New photos of 1940 Bianchi with original paint

I have set up a new album with photos of my newly arrived 1940 Bianchi with the 2nd generation cambio corsa. The second generation cambio corsa levers were used from about 1937 to about 1942 from the best that I can tell. I have them on both my 1940 and 1941 Bianchi Folgores. The chroming of the fork blades and the stays is quite neat in that the chrome is only exposed on the outside, with paint on the inside. This bike still came with the braze-on on the bottom side of the drive side chainstay for the possibility of mounting a Vittoria Margherita derailleur system, showing that Campagnolo was still not 'the only' way to go if you wanted an Italian derailleur system.
