I've used one of these, and it wasn't too hard to install. It went in fine without chamfering, but a slight chamfer would have made a nicer fit. BUT this is a YST bottom bracket, very cheap, and not particularly smooth turning right out of the box. definetly a cheap knock off of the mavi unit made in China. It was fine for the beat old clunker I put it in, but I have my doubts about how long it would last for someone who rides more than a few miles a year(or how happy you'd be with it if you're used to nice bottom brackets)

Friends, Romans and countrymen, Apparently, a firm called YST makes a BB similar in design to the old Mavic piece. Behold:

I have never used one of these, although I did manage to find this listing in the Bike Tools Etc. on-line catalogue one evening while trying to find the meaning of life on the Internet.
