I asked about info on Scarfacci for the guide. Interesting archival documents on this one. While the bio at the website refers to what one would conclude would be an old Italian craftsman, there are enough posts in the archives to convince me that indeed, it is a "real fictitious person" as Brian B. says. While the archives mention Mikkelson as the builder of the prototypes, I can't find information about whether the company really survived and if so, who built after Mikkelson. Supposedly there is a Sonoma CA connection, so do any of you wine drinkers out in Northern California tell us anything about this elaborate "hoax". Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
