I've shipped a lot of parts and frames to Canada over the years and continue to do so. I've had two shipments never show up, right after 9/11/2001. I've had one shipment returned because some customs agent (or postal employee) didn't like the way I filled out the customs form. I usually ship through my company. Our mail is picked up by a carrier and the carrier will not accept anything going to Canada, even if we have completed the appopriate customs forms, unless it is a business custom form, which is much more cumbersome and detailed--must list export licensing and such. So, I have to go to the Post Office, which takes time. I've also had problems with depositing or cashing International Money Orders. I finally discovered that the US Postal Service will cash Canadian Postal Money Orders (another, or same, trip to the Post Office), so I use that or Paypal. I believe Greg Parker is right in that inexperience equals reluctance to ship to Canada, but I also believe that many people who are experienced may find that the extra work just isn't worth it. Sorry my north of the border friends, but such is life. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
