Most of our well known British makers made pace following machines but the most notable were with their respective famous riders. Duckett Bill Temme . Claud Butler Harry Grant. Selbach Harry Grant. R.O.Harrison Harry Grant. Hodge (also known as Holly) Leon Meridith. Excel Charley Bowtle. Macleans, Carpenter, Saxon, Granby and Buckley Brothers where also popular mounts. They also used special Major Taylor stems with an extra diagonal stiffening rod.

Thats all for now. Keep those wheels spinning, in your memories if not still on the road. Be lucky Mick Butler Huntingdon UK.
