I was just posting Ray privately about this, when I realized that I've forgotten what exactly it was the precipitated the CPSC regs that caused Campagnolo (and all of us) so much grief. Were those regs aimed specifically at Campagnolo? If so, why? If not, why did they affect Campagnolo so severely? I never noticed that Shimano or Suntour made any special changes in the wake of those regs..for instance.
