Subject: [CR]Info on Colnago Super with Hermann and RDV markings?

Along with the other NOS Colnago Master and SLX Spiral Conic framesets I recently received, there was one that was different from the others.

It is a Colnago Super (Colnago decals and Colnago ace of clubs cut out of the bottom bracket shell) made in limited edition for Roman Hermann, former general distributor for Colnago in Switzerland and 1980's racer of some renown. The seller of these frames to me said there are maybe 5 frames ever built in this color scheme with the Hermann name pantographed on the top of the seatstay and top of the chromed flat fork crown.

I have seen two other Hermann-labeled Colnagos (Mexicos maybe?) over the years, but they were solid colors. This pink and white fade color scheme reminds me of the blue and white fade paint scheme on the 3Rensho Katana.

In addition, the rear dropouts are engraved RDV, maybe the initials of Roger de Vlaeminck? I thought I saw somewhere where RDV had some association with Colnago during RDV's racing career.

I have pics of this frame if anyone would like to see it and if it would help identify it. I have communicated with one list member who had a Picchio with the RDV initials on the dropouts, but am hoping someone knows more about the triumvirate of Hermann, Vlaeminck, and Colnago on one frameset.

Thanks,
