I stuck my nose into a tandem on Ebay and ended up winning it. Can anyone suggest the best method of shipment and a bike shop near Champaign, Illinois that might be of help.

Joe Bender-Zanoni Great Notch, NJ Joe: Pack it in two separate boxes, and keep both boxes under 120" girth plus length (each). Under 108" if possible on the non-frameset box. If you pack it all in one box and it is over 120" your shipping options are severely limited, slow, and expense ($200-300). Fed-X Ground will probably be cheaper than UPS Ground. Don't ask me how I learned this.... ;-) Greg Parker Dexter, Michigan http://www.bicycleclassics.com
