At 17 I had a nice Jeunet with all 531, Record hubs, HS & FD, NR rear, TA crank, Racers and sew-ups. I think I paid $150 for it used. It was real nic e riding, easily close to anything money could buy functionally. That had to go too soon to finance a VW, which ended being traded for a 1971 (oil in frame) BSA Lightning. My back up ride, a clincher shod Raleigh Super Grand Prix would have to serve until I found my Bartali in a row of used bikes at a LBS 10 years or so later. When I saw the Bartali for only two bills, I ha d to buy it and was back in the nice bike game. I can't remember what became of the Raleigh... Kurt Sperry Bellingham WA
