Aplogies for asking about new components on this list. The frame is a classic, though!
I'm thinking of putting a new Sora front derailleur on an old frame with brazed on above-the-BB-shell cable guides. I tried this a few years ago with an XTR derailleur, but the cable did not line up correctly, so I had to drill and tap the BB shell for a cable guide with the cable going underneath the shell. I really don't want to do that with my current project. Does anyone know if the Sora derailleur will work with the old-style cable guide?
