Go to a McCormick Paints if nearby. They handmatched the beige (not an easy color to match) of my old 1990 Buick perfectly about 6 years ago. It was their rust resistant enamel- very durable stuff. They went right in the parking lot to do this- about 5 minutes! Cost of about $4 a pint then. Long long shelf life if closed well after opening. Great people-told me they could do the bike too if I brought it in.

Why use nail polish that's too hard to eyeball the right match- and you almost need to bring your bike into the store.
