Louis,

Every single day for the past few months I have become more convinced th at FedEx are crooks. There is no question in my mind whatsoever that the y are messing with everyone BIGTIME. PLEASE, PLEASE, someone file a form al complaint with a consumer advocacy group that has some real teeth. Fe d Ex needs to be exposed and subject to a major federal investigation! I 'm totally serious. I don't have time myself, but have spent a lot of ef fort out here trying to get these people to address this "problem", whic h they have no interest nor intention of doing. I will support the effor t 1000%, and then some.

Anyone willing to make the contact?

Brian Baylis La Mesa, CA Their unlawful actions are completely intentional!!!

I contacted FedEx today to see about my claim for the bicycle they lost. They were very pleasant: My claim was DECLINED. Yikes! I about fell off my chair. Were they totally insane????

They said: "we declined your claim because you did not submit an invoice ." Well, this is totally false, I did send it through their electronic c laim system. Second, even if it were true, shouldn't they say they are missing a document before they decline a claim? And what if I didn't hav e an invoice? They could just lose my bicycle, and never pay???

I then spoke to the claims handler. She admitted she could see the docu ments I had electronically filed, but she "couldn't open them" (they wer e pdf documents). I said, well, is that a reason to deny a claim? She went berserk, and told me she NEVER talked to people on the phone, and d idn't have time for that. But I was lucky, she was going to reopen my c laim. Lucky!

But they would have to start the investigation over again, and search th eir depot for my bicycle before considering my claim. Hadn't they alrea dy done that? Berzerk reaction, again.

I finally said, OK, just reconsider my claim. But you really are a bad company. She said, no, we're not. I said yes, you are, but have a nice day.
