Extending EBAY auctions is not a great idea because it would require people
to monitor the auction end, in a global auction some people might need to
be awake at 4AM, also I can't EBAY during work hours. The EBAY system is OK
but I would prefer a system where your actual bid is your bid. This would
prevent sellers from manipulating there own auctions to higher prices by pu
shing up your bid with phamtom bidders which I believe is common. I use Esn
ipe and forget about the auctions, it works best for me. Brian Blum in Ber
