Its worth mentioning (or worth writing a sociological thesis about) that the excitement in winning an eBay auction has to do with the patience required in knowing when to "make your move". Unfortunately, since most of us work and play, and don't plan our lives around eBay auction end times, a sniping service/alter ego comes in handy. A sniping service is convenient, but ultra boring. Great for multiple bidders (or people who eBay for a living). I know someone that quit her job as a senior U.S. Attorney to eBay full time (makes more money!). Anonymity and voyeurism are the operative words when it comes to eBay auctions, "watching this item" and then pouncing. As they say "everything in moderation", just don't get bored or obsessed. -Erik Olsson Rochester NY
