Ray,

There can only be one NOS Wizard out there; I know which one it is. Cong ratulations! Do it period correct. Most were Campy, but whatever you wan t as long as it's period. Wizards were sold as frames only, so the owner could do whatever they felt like for components.

I just reacquired a Wizard myself. It's the mixte I built for my mother in '74 or so. Has single ring TA crank, Weinneman 500 brake in front and Mafac centerpull in rear, GB tourist handlebar and stem, Brooks B66 sad dle, Sunshine hubs, vintage Shimano rear der. Cool bike to ride to the m ail box or to grab some milk. Need to secure the basket better on the fr ont, though. Anyone need a large black "Fancy Furry sheepskin seatcover? ?

Wizards are much rarer than Confentes!

I was lucky enought to make a contact over a month ago that had a beautiful Wizard frame and fork never built up. Even luckier that it is my size. That person is no longer the owner of that Wizard. I will have to get some photos of it on WoolJersey but for now I am just oogling it and

deciding what to dress her in.
