A friend of mine raced in the early 70s and then stopped riding. These bikes (http://homepage.mac.com/bwebel/cycling/PhotoAlbum33.html) have hung in a basement for about thirty years. She's looking to clear space now and asked me if I would take care of it for her. I know that many of the parts on them are desireable, but don't know about the frames.
I can't quite decide if I should strip and Ebay the parts and then maybe turn the frames into fixed gears, or just sell them complete. Philosophically, I'd kind of like to keep them complete, and it would be easier for me, but I also feel some duty to get my friend the most money for them. Of the bikes, I'd say that the Condor is the most likely to keep complete and the touring bike be stripped?
Any thoughts are welcome.
