While I have nothing close to a $1250+ rim-set I do have a few nice pairs from the 1970's. Some of the decals are starting to curl or peel off, even

on NOS sets. Does anyone have any tricks to protect rim decals? Bear in mind that they will be ridden and exposed to the elements. Also, should the

foil Mavic decals be handled differently than the paper sticker ones found

on Super Champion and other rims. I was thinking about clear nail polish. Any words of wisdom are much appreciated. Thanks.
