No, the post is definitely not C-record. That post was introduced with the Victory group (before C-rec) and then was used with Chorus and Croce. I think there was a slightly cheapened version that came out as Triomphe and was later sold as Athena. There are other applications of similar Campy posts in newer groups less familliar to me. It is very common for this post to show up on Ebay as C-record. About half the "C-record" posts on Ebay are not C-record. This is also true of headsets, ft. ders, pedals, and to a lesser degree just about everything else Campy from the late 80's and 90's. None of the parts were marked, and Athena/Chorus/Croce shared several parts that were identical or only slightly different. Other than some of the brake levers that were shared with Croce and Chorus, C-record is unique and readily identifiable for each component, with headsets being the only item slightly difficult to positively ID. On Ebay, "if in doubt, call it C-record," seems to be the policy.
