Wonderful condition track or path. I love it, but wont say too much because I don't know too much about these. Ohh would I like to ride this machine, with the timing mech. on or off...

That Gillot path-bike belongs to Matt Gorski, who built it up perfectly. I will take a little credit for the paint. I bought that frame, and a super-cool Gnutti splined crankset, from Hilary Stone. Hilary was kind enough to deliver the frame to Argos, in Bristol, and I spent a month or so talking over the options with a very helpful fellow there. We eventually settled on the paint you see in the pics..and trust me, it looks even better in person.

When I received the frame, I realized it was too big for me, and, so, Matty wound up with it..and I'm glad he did, because he built it up just right, and I get to see it now and then.

If you buy a frame from England that needs a repaint, I can't recommend Argos highly enough. In my case they were very patient and helpful, cost was a real bargain, and turn-around was very fast, once we settled on what to do. Have it painted by Argos, then have it shipped.

Just remember, Argos is careful, but they're not as finicky as some smaller painters. Lug-lining is nearly always flawless, but I can't speak for pinstriping..the striping on the stay-caps was a little crude. You'll get a good, solid paint-job. Be VERY clear what you want though. Oh, and their paint-finish is about as indestructable as paint can be.
