Subject: [CR]Referral for old skip-tooth tandem, please

A friend of mine has an old tandem, and has asked me to refer him to some place or person on the internet where he can learn more about it. I'll paste what he wrote here. I apologize if this borders the list's scope. I think it overlaps it, at least.

Morgan, I'm wondering if you know of any good links to antique bike groups that I can post a request for information on an old tandem I have. All the google links on the bike have been useless, and I wondering if it is worth saving before I modify it as an art bike. It is a Chicago Cycle Supply Co. bike, and the front bronze tag also says "liberty" the bike is a woman front and man rear relative to the top tube. it has the old skip link chains and gears, which place it as pre 1950's. CCSC was a distributor I read, rather than a true manufacturer. I haven't cleaned the serial number enough to read it, but it is there. any suggestions on where to post a question on it's value or rarity? I just don't want to destroy something rare. the fact that it's name doesn't appear on any lists is intriguing..

This is from my friend Chris, not me. Can you please give me any pointers to pass onto him?
