Subject: [CR]Content unfit for the CR list?

Tom,

I have to respectfully disagree with you on this one, as I think that by forwarding these emails to the CR list, Robbie's "true colors" have come thru. Greg's tone and words in these emails have been fairly straight forward, while Robbie seems to be on the attack, bringing religion and urine into the discourse, not to mention attacking Greg's business practices, which I've always found to be above reproach. The best part was Robbie mentioning Mickey Thompson 429 parts, which was like some 14-year old Jr. High kid bragging about the size of his dick. And Robbie is the guy you said you'd "go to the mat" over?

Bottom line on my end is that it doesn't bother me that Robbie has repro'd the old Campy hoods. It DOES bother me that he's been selling them on Ebay without disclosing that they're repro items. Robbie feels he's in the clear by what was NOT said ("I never claimed they were NOS"), but he's just playing a word game. If someone is selling a repro item, full disclosure should be a matter of fact. Robbie's position has been that if the buyer doesn't realise the item is a repro, hey, it's ok then! So what if the buyer paid $70-$80+ on Ebay, right? Do you really feel that this is an honest approach, Tom?
