Subject: [CR]Regina Oro chain marking question

Does the "80" often seen on the outer links of Regina Oro chains signify 1980 production, or Model 80, or...? I can't recall ever seeing a number other than 80, so I'm leaning towards a model designation, but I'm not at all sure.
