Dave, The Modolo brakes in Mondriaan scheme feature in the 1987/1988 Velodor catalogue (French chain of bikeshops). They cost, at that time, 950 Francs! Freek 'Dutch, like Mondriaan!' Faro Rotterdam Netherlands
