In vaguely off topic bell news I just got a somewhat unexpectedly large supply of big chinese bells from china, real deal old school style, chrome and beautiful, pheonix's on the center, perfect for your porteur bike. I will offer three to the CR listees in exchange for a good trade (like some other cool bell or some sort of headbadge or large stacks of 100 dollar bills, track ephemera, etc.), email me with offers, they look like this http://www.long-john.com/ljbell2.JPG They usually run in the 4 to 10 dollar range if you get them at, say, restoration hardware. But these are actually hand carried from china see, so they are worth more, or less, or something.
