Bravo Doug! Sorry Dale. I know that was an "attaboy." I've never cared where the line was drawn as long as it's done purposefully. If the painter makes it look like that's what they were trying to do and execute it crisply then it looks proper. Every painter has there preferences and individual skill sets. Whenever I send a frame out for paint, I tell the painter the colors, paint scheme and then I tell them to make it look good. I think this gives them freedom and creative license which keeps the painter happy and me happy with the results.
