I have heard that it is possible to replace the cage on a Campy front derailleur...has anyone done this? I have a nice FD with built in cable stop but the cage is cosmetically challenged so I would like to replace it. What I've heard is that you grind the end of the pin to remove it. What I don't know is where to get a replacement pin and how to size it and peen it back in place. Any suggestions.
