Hope I'm not too late to comment on the "reasons for thanks" subject and to say how nice it is to see this type of discussion on the listing. What a change to to read members comments and their sincerity in appreciating the various aspects of things in their lives.As for me personally I give my thanks for a great family upbringing, good health and a wonderful wife. We are now both in the twilight of our years and with her encouragement I have always been able to continue my interest in cycling both as a competitor,clubman and collector/restorer . I appreciate every moment of my time when in the workshop or riding out on one of my bikes in this beautiful part of the UK. Added to that my thanks to the friendliness and the encouragement of those people on the CR listing and V-CC many to whom I've never met but have become my friends both here and world wide .
Long may I still continue to keep up those aquaintances and to follow Dale's good advice in his closing contribution by using the positive and refuse to participate in the negative.Now having just past my 75th.birthday I'm all for the quiet life and can look back over the passing years and think of all those whose lives I have touched on and give my thanks to all those folks to whom can still be part of my life today.
