Without a doubt the Richard Sachs 25th Ann. replica I bought from Nick Z. a few years ago. Not because it didn't cost much (it definitely did put a strain on my finances) but because it has only grown in my affection every time I have ridden it and brings me joy on a regular basis. I put a lot of miles on it and my satisfaction with it just continues to grow. Not too many things one can say that about. When I ride it, I always think "This is what bike riding is all about!" One of only two bikes I have ever rode that can make your face sore from grinning! Tom Sanders Lansing, Mi
I sometimes think you are still not sure that I did that deal, but it worked for both of us. <g> I immediately bought a Nagasawa in my size with the proceeds.
My free Masi was one of my other favorite deals. I purchased Cali-Masi #028 from an eBay seller. The seller is into bicycles, but only those made prior to 1900. A phone conversation with the seller prior to the auction closing, landed me a bunch of 'gear-head' stuff for being the winning bidder. The "gear-head' stuff was later sold for more than I paid for the Masi.
