I'm surprised that someone over here has'nt made their point on the subject of crank pins since the the beginning of time I have always been made to believe they are called cotter pins I believe.
As for trousers bottoms being snagged, ( theres another one for you) , up on the protruding pin ,has'nt anyone thought of using trouser clips or should I say trouser bands. One could go on for ever , oh well its gives us all food for thought I suppose!!
