Steven; The KOF might be a personal decision, but if we go by the guidelines set out by Dale, exactly what Dale means by welded is open to interpretation. Maybe Dale could pipe up and give a more detailed definition. I guess it depends for now on your interpretation of what Dales describes as welded. If my interests still took me away from bikes of the U.K. I would certainly love to have a few of the original Titaniums in my grouping like Speedwell & Teledyne. Since Dale lists both frames on the CR pages, I would guess that sets a precedent for the list, and a shop like Merlin could be considered KOF.

I've been reading the discussion of the F1 Racer from afar, and not commmenting much so far, but if Merlin started up in 1986, and the F1 racer originated in 1983, either someone else produced the F1 or Steve's recollections were incorrect and the F1 was produced later. I would like to see more information on the F1 as far as actual production date, and exactly what company did produce the original cycles but I'm not quite sure if it fits within the guidelines of the CR.
